Requirements: Azure datacenters implement emergency lighting in the form of overhead emergency lighting on dedicated circuits backed up by UPS and generator systems. Automatic emergency lighting is implemented along all evacuation routes, emergency exits, and inside the colocations in accordance with the National Fire and Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Code.
