Description: The organization: Establishes an alternate processing site including necessary agreements to permit the transfer and resumption of operations defined in BCP for essential missions/business functions within recovery time defined in BCP (4 hours) when the primary processing capabilities are unavailable;
Requirements: All Azure datacenters can be used as alternate processing sites, and each site has the necessary agreements in place to transfer and resume services logically without equipment transfer. Azure service teams determine recovery objectives following the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) process and services are designed and tested to meet objectives, following the Azure Business Continuity Management (BCM) process.
